What time does the Fair open to the public?
The Fair officially opens Monday, July 8, at 9 am through Saturday, July 13. Pre-fair events will be on Saturday, July 6, and Sunday, July 7.
What time does the Fair close?
The fair closes at 11 pm Monday through Friday and 12 pm on Saturday.
How much are Admission Tickets?
Admission tickets are $7 per person. 5 years and under free admission into the fair.
What types of payment methods are available at the Fair?
Cash or credit card payment methods are available at the Fair.
When is Kids’ Day?
Kid’s Day is Friday, July 12, from 2 – 4 pm and Saturday, July 13, from 12 – 4 pm. During the timeframes, ride tickets will be $1 per ride.
When is Toddler’s Day?
Toddler’s Day is Thursday, July 11, from – 2 – 4 pm. $10 armbands are available for purchase during the timeframe for children 6 years and under only.
Can I bring my dog on a leash to the Fair?
No, only service dogs are allowed with proper paperwork. No dogs are allowed inside the animal barns.
What day do food vendors open at the fair, and what time?
Food vendors will open on Monday, July 8 at 12 pm, noon.
Will there be a Beer Tent at the Fair?
No, there is no Beer Tent at the Fair.
Will there be BINGO at the Fair?
No, there is no BINGO at the Fair.
Is there a fireworks show at the Fair?
No, there is no fireworks show at the Fair.
Will there be an antique tractor pull?

Midway
What day do the rides open?
Midway rides open on Tuesday at 2 pm.
What time do the rides open?
The Midway rides open at 2 pm Tuesday through Friday and 12 pm on Saturday.
What time do the rides close?
The Midway closes at 11 pm Tuesday through Friday and midnight on Saturday.
How old do kids need to be to ride the rides at the fair?
Kids must meet a certain height requirement to ride Midway rides. Please visit Elliott’s Amusement’s website for a complete list of height requirements for each ride: ElliottsAmusements.com

Can you bring purses on the rides?
No, purses are not recommended when riding Midway rides.
What happens to the rides if it rains; will they be closed?
The Midway will be open in no to light rain, but if there is heavy rain at the Fairgrounds, the Midway rides will be closed. Please check out our weather forecast at the fairgrounds: EatonCountyFair.com/#Weather
Where can I purchase ride tickets?
You can purchase Midway ride tickets online or on the Fairgrounds at Elliot’s ticket booths.
How much are wristbands for the rides?
All-day wristbands are $20 on Tuesday through Thursday and $25 on Friday and Saturday. 3-Day Mega Pass Wristbands are available for $54 when purchased online on or before July 8 at Midnight.
Animal Barn
What types of animals are seen at the Fair?
Animals vary at the Fair, but the most common are: cows, horses, pigs, sheep, goats, peacocks, chickens, turkeys, ducks, rabbits, and guinea pigs.

Can the public enter the Animal Barns?
Yes, the public can enter the animal barns during fair hours. No dogs, smoking, or vaping is allowed in the barns at any time.
Are the Animal Barns free to the public?
Yes, the animal barns are free with Admission into the Fair.
Can you pet the animals in the barns?
No, you can only pet animals in Petting Zoo Barn. Please see the Farigrounds map for location of the Petting Zoo Barn: eatoncountyfair.com/fairgrounds-map
When do the Animal Barns open to the public?
Animal Barns are open to the public when the Fair opens at 9 am Monday through Saturday.

What is the order of animals for the auctions?

What are the Grandstand Events for the Fair?

Do you have to pre-pay for the Grandstand events?
No, you can buy Grandstand tickets at the Informational Booth, if available. Please see our map of the Fairgrounds to find the Information Booth: eatoncountyfair.com/fairgrounds-map
How do I purchase Grandstand tickets?
You can purchase Grandstand tickets online or at the Information Booth at the Fair.
Are Grandstand tickets different from General Admission tickets?
Yes, General Admission tickets are purchased at the entrance of the Fair, and Grandstand tickets are a separate ticket to get into the Grandstand events.
Do I have to buy General Admission and Grandstand tickets to attend a Grandstand event?
Yes, if you want to see a Grandstand event, you must purchase both General Admission AND Grandstand tickets.
What payment methods are available at the Grandstand ticket booth? (Cash, Credit Card, Apple Pay, etc.)
Cash or credit card payment methods are available at the Fair.
Are Grandstand seats first come, first serve?
Yes, Grandstand seats are a first come, first serve unless you purchased Reserved Seating tickets.
What is the difference between general and reserved seating for Grandstand events?
General seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis for seating at a Grandstand event. Reserve Seating lets you pick your seats before the Grandstand event and guarantees your spot. Grandstand Tickets can be purchased online.
Do Grandstand events still occur if it is raining? If so, which ones?
Grandstand weather cancellation depends on the event. Motocross, Derby, and Rodeo will continue in a light mist. Tractor and Truck pulls require dry conditions. Please check out our weather forecast at the fairgrounds: EatonCountyFair.com/#Weather
If events are canceled due to weather, what is the “cut-off” time to make an announcement?

How do people receive refunds for canceled events if people purchase tickets online?
If an event is canceled, refunds will automatically be credited back to the card the tickets we purchased on. If you have issues, please call the Fair Office: 517-543-4510

What is the best way to reach the fairgrounds for tent camping, winter storage, booking the horse arena, renting Kardell Hall, etc.?

What hours is the sanitation station open?
The sanitation station is open 24/7 during fair week.
Is there an early camper move-in on the 4th of July?
Yes, there will be an early camper move-in on July 4.
